“You have a gift that must be shared with the world. Your pictures tell a story.
I am so grateful you got to tell mine” - Caleigh Smith
I graduated at the International Film Academy in São Paulo, Brazil in 2012 and packed my camera bag and moved to Australia in 2013 where I had to learn to love other things in order to get my visa sorted. After 5 years I had my first daughter, Olivia, and that’s when the game changed completely; I couldn’t do anything else apart from mother and take pictures of her. Photography was the only thing that survived in me after a traumatic childbirth and it was impossible to ignore it.
I started capturing other mamas in 2019, as a way to fulfil myself and empower other women. In 2021, when swimming in fresh waters, I heard a voice saying my Son was coming. River was born 10 moons after and his masculine energy gave me the fire to take the next step and turn my art into my business.
I’ve been lucky enough to have captured so many amazing mamas in all their power- giving birth, mothering, starting a business, being loved and spoiled in a Blessing-way, to name a few occasions.
This is my love language and I can’t wait to create with you.
